On 5 December 1945, five US Navy TBM Avenger torpedo bombers left Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale on a routine navigation and bombing training exercise. The formation carried 14 airmen.

4. USS Cyclops: The Bermuda Triangle’s Biggest Ship Mystery
